Prajna Dharma 2026 New Year Mindfulness Challenge - Daily Screen-Free Hours
Dear Dharma Friends,
How much time do we spend looking at our phones every day? And how much time is left for our study, contemplation, and practice (聞思修), for real life, and for the people around us?
For
the first two months of the New Year in 2026
, Prajna Dharma is launching the
"Daily Screen-Free Hours"
campaign. We invite you to try putting down your phone and disconnecting from the internet for 1 to 3 hours "before sleep" or "after waking up", or both. Let’s practice being the master of our phones, rather than being led away by them anytime, anywhere. (
We invite you to try setting aside 1 to 3 hours each day to put down your phone, computer, and disconnect from the internet—either before going to sleep, after waking up, or both.
)
🙏 Please fill out the sign-up form and write down your personal goal. Let us support and protect (
nurture
) each other's practice. You are also encouraged to share your screen-free time every day in our WhatsApp group. In two months, we will look back and share our journey together.
